一切都是為了年少的野心,
身世浮沉雨打萍,
天涯何處有知己,
只愁歌舞散化作彩雲飛.

一切都是為了如水的柔情,
不妨常任月朦朧,
為何看花花不語,
是否多情換無情,

燭火無語照獨眠,
愛情苦海任浮沉,
無可奈何花落去,
唯有長江水默默向東流.

Hi Yogizuna, please to know you. My apology, my assumption was wrong but I hope you have understood my explanation.

Your understanding of a person's identify is a bit different from the Chinese. It is okay though. We Chinese are very proud of our ancestry and ethnicity. Our culture is the longest continuous civilization in the world (5,000+ years!).

The most important point however is that we are both hugh fans of Teresa Teng - Xie Xie!!

Do not dishonor Teresa Teng with petty politics. Her birth was here in Taiwan and her grave is here in Taiwan. She was never able to sing in Mainland China because the Chinese banned her music. She did, however, perform a concert called "Democratic Songs for China" in Hong Kong. So as you can see, she loved all people of Chinese ethnicity whether from China or from Taiwan, but she was not a communist. She was and always be from Taiwan and we are proud to have her.

God sent her angel - TERESA to comfort us with her "TRUE, KIND, BEAUTIFUL". She left with us her LOVE in music too. You won't be forgotten & forever living in our memory till the end of world!!!
