@bignix23 The downgrade to society is the fact Metallica still exist. Lulu is testament to that. I'd like to see Ulrich, Hetfield and co play their instruments half as well as this.

@bignix23 It has to do with how your mind is made up. To us who like it, the music lets us tap into our emotions on a similar level as you with anything you listen to. There are songs that I don't listen to because they don't have the kind of flow that I find pleasing. We are all different, and many bands help make sure that nobody gets left out when it comes to their preferences.

People like this because its actually quite a good song. Done very well and filled with all the emotion and passion from the original. Its simply in a different form, some people have certain limited tastes, you are apprently one of them and it makes me sad that you can't enjoy this beautifull song with so many other people.....

Why do people like this? Without Hetfield singing, this song sucks cock. After all, its his song. Never truly meant to be released by Metallica, but it was cuz Ulrich heard Hetfield playing it. THis "Apoctalyptica crap is bullshit. Nonsense. A downgrade to society for mocking Metallica fans like me.
