This is Wong Fu Productions' submission to the Interpretations Film Initiative.[We are Not part of the contest] WFP, along with many other notable directors, were commissioned to create a short based on four lines of provided dialogue. It is a great honor to be showcasing our work with such amazing talent. Interpretations is a contest headed by Justin Lin (Better Luck Tomorrow, Fast and Furious). Any aspiring filmmakers should definitely use this opportunity to stretch their creative muscles! ( http://interpretationsfilm.com )

Shot in one day in Norman, Oklahoma, during our 2010 Spring Tour, at a location we found the day before, and with friends we met the day before.

  • Phil and Ted are dragons in human form. Phil reveals this to Sara and asks if she wants to become dragons with them. He also insists that they kill her husband because he is a "sucker". Ted plays with fire because that is where dragons draw their energy from - fire.

It ends with the letter of acceptance being burnt because Sara has rejected becoming a dragon.

  • Phil goes to Sara to confess his feelings for her. Sara is about to get married to Alex. Ted advises Phil that "it's not something [he'd] do", but Phil goes against his will anyway. When Sara is confronted by Phil, it is "not what [she] expected". Sara does not reciprocate the feelings despite Phil's questioning. Alex comes in to have lunch with his fiance and the video ends with the wedding invitation being burnt up because Phil does not want to go the wedding any more.
