TF2 Crash Landing: Cow Mangler 5000 / Righteous Bison - New Update Weapons Explained

There should be more of these new items to come in the next few days. Remember - Rockets appeared on more then one map and according to the comic that went with this, the soldier found weapons in the rocket. Engineer weapons, anyone?

I dunno why everyone is going mental over the nerf and calling it garbage. It's pretty balanced now, there's no clear answer to "which is the best rocket launcher?" and that's pretty much what balance is.

The 10% less damage isn't that huge of a deal, considering you overkill most targets anyway so it'd only rarely increase the shots to kill. And an extra rocket coupled with a special attack is still nothing to snort at. And the absence of crits most just stops you getting a Kritzkrieg pocket.

@DibbzTheLoner It is balanced now, but I think everyone is just pissy that the damage ramp-up was fixed on it so it no longer does a shit-ton of damage at close range (And rightly so).

If Pyros are reflecting your rockets, then that's YOUR problem. Pull out your shotgun, it's there for a reason. This is what I mean by saying it's a crutch weapon.
