New Zealand Story (NES) Playthrough: Part 1/3

Let's do a playthrough of The New Zealand Story for the NES, a pretty decent conversion of Taito's ultra-cute arcade platformer.

In The New Zealand Story (otherwise known as "Kiwi Kraze" in the US) the unthinkable has happened - Wally the Walrus has kidnapped almost all of the island's kiwis! Things may not be as bleak as they first seem, however - Tiki, a particularly brave kiwi, has evaded capture and vows to rescue his flightless friends from a fate worse than extinction.

@bencheshire Emulator - specifically, the Mac version of Nestopia. I own the physical cartridge, I just lack a method of recording directly from hardware at present.

I have the NES and Amiga versions of this game. Both play well but I like the music on the Amiga version over the NES. But both are great games.

For some weird reason, the instrumentation used in the music reminds me of pirate titles such as Somari. Except the music in this game is a ton better.
