  • This may be the most beautiful songs that has ever been sung by anyone. Her sweetness reminds me of my dad a bunch. He found kindeness in everything and everyone. Truly emotional ! Thanks for the warm feeling that this allows. God is great !

  • Vestal was truly touched by the Master's hand

  • I love Vestal Goodman! I grew up watching her, with my Grandmother and her music gave me my heritage in Christianity!

  • @hoover4000 Howard passed in November 2002, Vestal in December of 2003. Hard to believe they are gone, and are so sorely missed!

  • wow so great love the goodmans and miss them what a voice love it.

  • @823dek My Grandmother saw the best in everyone, too. she would always ask "What do you think could have caused them to act that way?" no matter who did what to who. She taught me so much and most of it she did without ever saying a word. I pray that I'm half the Grandmother to my grandsons tht she was to me!

  • FOR GOD SO LOVED ! WE are to LOVE ...

  • 3 years before her death, and she could still pour out that kind of sound; it shouldn't have been possible.

  • Reminds me too of my mum who was a great singer chubbie beautiful and a blessed voice

  • I loved the Goodman's and it was my boyfriend (now my husband of 48 years) that introduced me to these dear singers. in 1961.

  • @823dek Vestal Goodman and The entire Goodman family has always been a huge blessing to the entire world. I remember when I use to be the Host at the Cracker Barrel in the Brentwood area of the Greater Nashville,TN exit off of I-65. And every time the Goodman's came in to eat, it was a pleasure to get them to their seats. Yes, it's fond memories we all share that makes life that much greater to us all. God Bless.....

  • @gaarafan93 Her music and Howard's music and the Gaither's Music has keep me sane these past few years as I have watched my husband and daugher fight for their lives. Thank you.
