Rise in Autism Diagnoses

A new study says that one of every hundred 8-year-olds was diagnosed with autism or a related disorder in 2006. That's a 57 percent jump from four years earlier. Dr. Jennifer Ashton reports.

@JonahTorn Understood- yes, there is something new, the poisons in the water, food, air etc- some forms are not autism but 'labeled' as such.

@TheAfroQween I should have explained. I do not question that Asperger Syndrome is in the spectrum of Autism. What I am wonder is if some of the syndromes that are being diagnosed are actually not any form of Autism so much as something that acts a lot like it. In other words is there something new going on to explain the spike in this diagnosis.

@JonahTorn Asperger syndrome is on the spectrum of autism- it is one of the highest functioning versions of autism- and vaccines can cause and does cause autism- on any level of the spectrum, low or high functioning

and ASD diagnostic kriteria does not involve Mental Retardation.

The Lona Wing triad says:Social interaction, social communication and Social imagination.

It's so wrong to include Mental retardation in a ASD criteria, when only 60% of ASD people have MR.

ASD isnt a disorder who results on vaccine. I havent find any studies who back that claim up. Dont spread the lie further.

You're absolutely correct. The immune systems of babies are not fully developed and cannot combat the poisons contained in the vaccines which are intended to make the child immune. The vaccines corrupt that development, and as a result the children lose cognitive abilities in a variety of unpredictable ways because there's no way to predict the stump of development after the child is injected with the diseases. It's really a shame that the govt doesn't just come out and tell everyone.
