Andrea Bocelli releases a new Christmas CD

Chances are you probably know this voice, its on of the most recognized in the world. Its Andrea Boceli, whos sold more than 70 million records since 1992.

The renowned Italian tenor has just released My Christmas Bocellis first holiday cd that features Christmas carols.

It is the feast where we celebrate a religious event but also, above all, the family. We all have so many memories of our childhood. And these songs will bring great peace to the soul.

The cd includes titles such as Adeste Fideles and O Tannnbaum. Bocelli signs some of the titles solo, other are duets, like Christmas Song who he sings by the side of Natalie Cole.

Even the world's most famous puppets like Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy wanted to celebrate Christmas next to Bocelli.

The thing that impressed me most was when I saw that my children were moved (after having seen it).

A few days after the cd was released, its already one of the top 10 most sold in the U.S and Europe. A sign perhaps that music is the real secret to capturing the Christmas spirit.

You can't kill someone's voice. I seriously doubt that anyone can sing those songs they way he does precisely because he has operatic voice.

Also I've met David Foster, and he isn't the type of guy that would want to profit off of someone's voice, I mean go look at what he's done already on wikipedia, the guy probably has as much money as Bocelli lol

@xyberfunk It's ridiculous that you are suggesting this as Andrea Bocelli was a perfectly healthy baby. His blindness is the result of a football (soccer) accident and a genetic problem which the doctors weren't aware of unti he was born. And no I am not ashamed of myself for wanting to give the mother the choice to have an abortion. It's her decision, she should not have someone else making it for her. On top of that it was illegal in Italy until May 1978.
