This is a Great Software, one of the best free software out there. I work at a school, and Fog is great. I have been using fog for about 2 years now. I can image a class of 25 computers in less time it would take me to install one by hand.

@insanity54 The machines must have the same HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer).

I successfully made an image from one machine and deployed it on another, but the computer I deployed it on wouldn't boot! Does the hardware have to be the same?

I installed FOG on the latest ubuntu and had it working in an hour !!! Never seen this product before. I would love to be able to demo it by deploying a windows 7 image !! Does this support WIMs ? or ghost ? Do I have to image a computer with with FOG utils etc ? Thanks.

you guys are jerks, he is the chief developer of the FOG project. He is just trying to help you learn how to use his FREE software. Yeesh. I hope for your sakes you are all IT people that never have to interact with the client, as I have sincere doubts about your people person abilities. Stay in your networking closets trolls. Grr.

It was certainly a nice thought to post this tutorial, but unfortunately it's not very helpful because I can't read a word of it. Any chance of a clearer version?
