Just when I thought I was never going to get this wonderful recipe, vola its there! I was telling Darren as I was sipping on the hot chocolate how wonderful they were! I can't wait to make it to prove it to him!

Wheeee~ My dough has been in the fridge for about 30 minutes now, so I might as well comment here while I wait. :) I'M SO EXCITED!! Haha. When I finished mixing all the ingredients, I was scared that it didn't have enough flour compared to cookie dough I've seen, but your video made me feel a little better.
Anyways, thanks for the recipe Morgan! I knew that recipe was somehow connected to Good eats >:]

The orange zest addition sounds like an excellent upgrade. I'll definitely have to favorite this for easy access next time I want to make cookies.
If only you could also have sent the mixer with the cookies for the batch I'm getting b/c that IS the most awesome part.

@cnptomboy94 Proofing. It let's the ingredients come together and solidifies the remaining fat from the butter that wasn't taken on by the flour.
