  • Visit this site sortmeout.sg , someone has done to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease. Quite interesting things. Just thought I'd share it with you all.

  • Thank you President Obama! It is a heartbreaking disease. I hope a cure is found. I remember the terror on my mother's face when she came to herself. I'd soothe her and say whatever I could to help her. The progressive disease was a blessing after awhile-no fear. She passed away 2 years ago. She'd the disease for a long time. Those "incidents" in the early days was the beginning of her alzheimer's disease. Early detection & facing the fact that something was wrong to get treatment sooner.

  • My mother is in the severe stage and I too do not wish it on anyone.A Dr told me Im destined to get it, since both parents had it, so Mr President, please help the next generation who will be affected....

  • Thank you and finally!! So important...my mother has (very) early onset Alzheimer's/Dementia and I do not wish it on anyone or any family!!

  • Well done for lifting the ban on embryonic research! Excellent step forward!

  • Thank you for what you have started. My husband is in the final stages and this has been one journey neither one of us dreamed we'd be taking. I would not wish this one any family. It is a horrible way to do and the suffering extends to all around us, our children and grandchildren. At this point I need respite (which I cannot afford) and what I hope for is that embryonic research will prevent others from even getting this awful disease in the first place.

  • On behalf of all the caregivers I thank you Mr President..Jo Kemp
