because starship troopers was set in the future they most likely didn't need ironsights, furthermore ironsights do not always give you an accurate shot, for example take a sub machine gun, it kicks when you fire it so it angles itself so when you try to shoot it, you do not get a very accurate shot. instead, aim above the target with a sub machine gun to get a more accurate shot.

That, and they weren't trained to fire accurately: just point the rifle in the general direction of the enemy, open fire, and hope for the best.

u got grenades use vthem against thousands 1 grenade can take like 5 out or use a nuke

Also, there are no iron sights on the guns....if there were there'd probably be a lot more nerve stem shots.
