  • This is so trippy! I went to Eugene Field! And that football field is still there too, they just use it as a practice field at the high school now... Absolutely insane.

    I'm not sure of the exact date, but I have an advertisement for a home movie camera from 1921. And when 16mm was first introduced in 1923, it made home movies much more accesible.

  • Who is the character at 3:17 ? Why does the photographer center on him for a period of time? (During which the photographer pans down to show the bum's bedroll(?).

  • What year were motion-picture cameras first available for home use (as opposed to professional use?)

  • This film was broadcast 2009. They show early Stayton, Oregon.
