Snowman I came to the USA at 10 yrs old. My thanks to the USA for saving me was joining the marine corps. I finally got out a couple years ago and visited Bosnia, it truly is beautiful to see how quick it's recovering. Im also from brcko one of the most mixed cities and it was beautiful seeing serbs, croats, and us getting along. Politicians almost ruined a beautiful country. If you decide to visit, take a week and go to the Adriatic sea you won't regret it ;-)

IFOR-SFOR WHAT FOR??? I was there Oct 96 to May 97. Mud and boring.

IFOR is a NATO peacekeeping mission in Bosnia. It went from 20 December 1995 to 12 December 1996 when it was transferred to the SFOR. It was replaced by the EUFOR Althea, on 2 December 2004 at NATO HQ, Camp Butmir, Sarajevo, Bosnia. The EUFOR Althea still went on to this day.
KFOR is NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. It went in effect in 12 June 1999 until to this day.
ISAF is a NATO security mission in Afghanistan. It went in effect in 20 December 2001 until to this day.

@Colin21233 If anyone is a moron. Then IT is you my friend. This is footage from my unit 15/16 years ago. One should think that I would know which mission I was on.
KFOR is Kosovo, ISAF Is Afghanistan. IFOR and then SFOR was in Bosnia. And before that UNPROFOR.
Check the facts. Before calling anyone morons.

@hjortby Sorry you're right my bad it was IFOR, KFOR, and SFOR, how condusing, was thinking ISAF for IFOR, to many damn acronmys
