Went Hiking on the Grinnell Glacier trail, there were some grizzly bears on the trail, so we had to stop. @ the stopping point we waited for a bit, and Jack Hanna happened to show up. With him were the great grand children of the Von Trapps, and the Tennessee football coach from the movie The Blindside. Since we couldn't go on, Jack suggested the kids put on a show for the crowd and they did. It was pretty random, but entertaining.

  • @jimaroo100 It actually says in the explaination part that they're the great grand children.

  • @icq1961 Yep, actually the kids all lived in Montana @ the time, and Jack Hanna apparently goes hiking there a lot or has a home there or something, so they met back in the day & made friends. And Jack said him & the football coach have been friends for years!

  • Their grandfather was the actual Kurt von Trapp! :D

  • I'm sorry...you were hiking and Jack Hanna showed up with these amazingly talented kids?

Yeah...that happens every time to me when I go hiking too.

    :)

  • I don't suppose anytime during this rather unusual meeting anyone happened to ask.... how do Jack Hanna, the Von Trapps and that football coach all know each other? Great vid anyway, thanks for posting!

  • @jimaroo100 No, they live in Montana. And Yes, they are the great-grandchildren

  • I believe they are the great grandchildren of Baron Von Trapp and perhaps Maria Von Trapp.... and that they perform at family lodge in New England.

  • that guy is so cute!

  • Awesome

  • How awesome to be able to just stop at the near top of a mountain in nature and sing about the animals, etc. Such an amazing gift! :)
