I absolutely love that the illustration video is of a supercharged engine; in which case, the objective is to raise octane ratings in order to prevent predetonation and spark knock, not lower.
Would really like to see some factual research that validates this product.

This sounds like a tablet that lowers the octane. Lower octane has a faster burn time. Higer octane has a slower burn.
