To pay tribute to the great Alex Roy's mysterious and lightning quick Rendezvous style run of Manhattan, my co-driver and I decided to run the very same route. You'll see the same route that Roy drove back in 2001 only we started from a different spot.

The route is run up the FDR, across at the GW Bridge Interchange, down the Henry Hudson, across again at the Battery Park Tunnel.

Ive watched 10 minute videos of people driving down the interstate. It's boring. (I get bored at work during my internship). I think it would be cool to have both the edited and unedited videos up on youtube. But then again, you never know what the driver and copilots could have been talking about during their run. If police get the slightest positive ID on whoever did this, these guys can risk getting thrown in jail and(or) wind up having to spend a lot of money on lawyers to protect themselves

Look at their phone at 6:56, they're running an app called Trapster. If you look closely, there are red icons with pictures of traffic signals. Those are red light camera warnings. Because of traffic fines, the substantial increase risk of causing an accident, plus possibly pissing someone off and calling the police, its just not worth it. You should read The Driver by Alex Roy. He talks a lot about speed and doing it safely like they do in Germany and why they allow such speeds in the 1st place
