where did you but the mesh from? please tell me, im not goin to use it on a 360, im using it for somthing else but that looks like what i need. is that mesh pretty rigid? or does it bend easily?

mesh is pretty strong...i got in the school supplies section at walmart...it was from a paper rack holder...you'll see.

Yes it is a bit louder but consider buying a fan controller. I did and i control it to my liking.

hey i have cut the perf metal from the metal casing put a 5v fan on the smaller heatsink linked it to the usb port for power and got a 4 usb port inside my xbox each with an 8gb flash card so my xbox has a 32 gb internal memory and a 250gb external memory plus a 12 v fan on back with led's a wind tunnel with led's led's down the side giving off plenty of light from the cut out casing and a hand cut out design of an african grey parrot that lights up in the casing
