in a way you are correct, the body naturally produces collagen up to about age 25 to 30 after that your levels start to depleat by the time your 70 your levels are so low, cell regeneration cannot keep up with decay, this process will firm your skin temporarily but in the long run your skin ages more rapidly. :(
