I honestly can't wait for this game, the only reason that i think his hair would be like this would be due to the fact that he was trying to lay low and hide, all of the half demons like Virgil have white hair which makes them easy to spot, he would dye his hair black and this would explain the white patch around the roots of the hair since he's been locked up :)

Shit! Enough with the bitching about the originality! I honestly agree and respect everyone's opinion but I'm also looking forward to the works of this game, accepting it as it is.

this game has nothing to do with the original DmC games, its set in a parralel universe. kind of a kick to the balls to the fans after still not knowing what happened after DmC2

To all you people thinking DmC: Devil May Cry is part of the Devil May Cry timeline, you are wrong. It is set in a parallel universe. It is a spin off of a sort.

@lildevilboi7 i like that type of story. i just think the rest of us thought they were changing him completely from now on...like ash

@CivilianCheesy It is still a Capcom game, they just let Ninja Theory develop it.

I think that Ninja Theory will do a great job, and this game looks amazing, I am a fan of the original DmC's also, but I am still excited for this one, we get to learn a little bit more about Dante! Give the game a chance at least before you hate on it. Plus, the gameplay looks really awesome, and the scenery is really well done.

Name of song/track? Anyone?
There is only one way I can accept Dante like this......
Dante in his normal form as we know and love him has white hair correct?
in this origins game, he has black hair in his normal form and white hair in his devil trigger. Do you see where i am going? Imagine devil trigger as super saiyan from DBZ. The hair color changes in both instances. In DBZ, goku was able to do SS for long periods of time. Wat if Dante learned to be in his DT as his normal form, and his later DT was actually DT2

Interesting, this makes his usual white haired look into his "devil trigger". It is not without some logic, as Dante learnt devil trigger in DMC3, and it makes sense that he is just beginning to accept his devil half in this game, since, again, he doesn´t fully embrace it till DMC3. The only little continuity nitpicking i can think of is that i´m pretty sure we saw Dante with white hair as a kid somewhere, but there have been larger issues during the series, so no biggie.
