in Holland (europe) diesel is cheaper then petrol

1 gallon is 3,78541178 liter

Near by 42% of new cars in European Union has diesel engines.
In EU petrol and diesel fuels are regular fuel.
Price of diesel and petrol is very similar. In UK diesel fuel costs little bit more then petrol.
We also have alternative fuels like - LPG, CNG, alcohol, biodisel.
LPG cost 50% less then petrol.

Just a small fact:
Diesel is a wasteproduct when producing petrol.
US needs a lot more gas than they can produce.
Europe doesnt need petrol they need diesel.
So US buys the petrol from europe, and europe keeps the waste product. Thats why diesel is cheaper than petrol in europe. So because its cheaper and has better fuel economy diesel is very popular
Once diesel becomes more popular they will stop buying petrol from europe and increase their own production hence price will drop

mmm, shiny. god i hope to get this car sometime after graduating college. it just seems like it has everything,sporty looks, extremely fuel efficient, quick, and a pretty good price too. how i'd love one so.
