His father, Pirouz , later called Abol Hasan, or Hasan's Father, in Arabic), was a Persian landowner in a village of Khuzestan who was enslaved during a military campaign of the Second Caliph, Umar(r), and taken back to Medina as mawali. In the course of dividing spoils of war, Pirouz, along with a damsel from his own village, was given to Umm Salama(ra) , a wife of Muhammad.
Umm Salama (ra) gifted both to one of her close relatives where both were ultimately wed and freed by the couple who received them.

Al-Hasan al-Basri (R) who was a great Salaf Sufi , admired and respected by all the great Salaf of his time .

' Hadrat Umar Farooq Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu the great Companion of Prophet Muhammad (saw) once supplicated for Al-Hasan al-Basri (R) with the words: "O Allah! Make him wise in the Religion and beloved to people."

All Great Islamic Scholars Praise him the likes of Imam Ghazali etc even the Salafi Giants like Ibn Qayyim Al- Jawzi and Ibn Tamyyia have written a great deal of literature in his Praise .

It it is Strange the modern day so called Salafi criticize the science of Spiritual purification of soul in Islam Tasawwuf Sufism followed by this Great Salaf and many other like him calling it as bad bidah or Innovation in Islam ? and yet call themselves Salafi ? but the fact is they do not follow the Salaf , they don't even follow their own Shayk Ul Islam Ibn Tammyia and His Student Ibn Qayyum Al -Jawzi who themselves where well versed in the science of Tasawwuf Sufism and where themselves Sufis and have written volumes of books on the lives of Sufi saints and Sufism , even though both have criticized some Sufis in certain aspects of Sufism but they where not against Tasawwuf Sufism in any way as they themselves claimed to be Sufis .
It is like Islamic Scholars criticizing other Scholars on the issue of Fiqh but that does not make them Anti Fiqh it is called as difference of opinion among the Scholars in Islam .

Note : it is absurd and clownish for any foolish Muslim to say the word Tasawwuf or Sufism was not there during the time of Prophet Muhammad (saw) so it is not part of Islam , it is like arguing that the word Fiqh was not there at Prophets (saw) time so it is not a part of Islam ?

The science of self purification ( spiritually) or Tasawwuf (Sufism) is based on the Sunnah and Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and the Commands of Allah in the Quran , even though Tasawwuf was there at time of Prophet Muhammad(saw) but it was not named as such

Later the Salaf gave this name to the part of Islam which deals with Self Purification ( spiritually) as Tasawwuf or Sufism

Just like the science of Fiqh legal rulings of the Muslim scholars, based on their knowledge of the shari`ah was there at the time of Companions of Prophet Muhammad (saw) but it not named as such

Later the Salaf gave the name Fiqh to that part of Islam which deals with rulings based on Islamic Shariah

The Modern day Salafi Wahhbi Najadi in truth do not follow anybody not even the Salaf , all they follow is their own fancy version of Islam , they are nothing but modern day Khawarij rebels against Islam calling slogan we don't follow any particular Sunni Imam or Sunni pious person or saint we follow ONLY what we feel is RIGHT in Islam , ECHOING the cry of their forefathers Khawarij rebels when they raised slogans we DON'T FOLLOW IMAM ALI (AS) OR HAZRAT MUAWIYA(R) WE FOLLOW ONLY QURAN ? AND NO ONE SHOULD RULE BUT THE BOOK OF ALLAH ? AS IF THESE HYPOCRITES KNEW MORE ISLAM THAN IMAM ALI AND HAZRAT MUAWIYA? AND WE ALL KNOW HOW ALLAH HUMILIATED THEM AT THE HANDS OF IMAM ALI (AS) , THE SAME SHALL ALLAH DO WITH THESE MODERN AGE KHAWARIJ THE WAHHABI SALAFI NAJADI SECT AT THE HANDS OF IMAM MEHDI (AS) WHEN HE COMES

Ibn Hajar says in Fath al-Bari that the hadith indicates the permissibility of initiating new expressions of dhikr in the prayer other than the ones related through hadith texts, as long as they do not contradict those conveyed by the hadith [since the above words were a mere enhancement and addendum to the known, sunna dhikr].

mashaAllah, thanks for these videos and for what u wrote here.Wahabis use youtube to spread their najdi filth, i think its high time we expose their satanic beliefs here as well.The wahabis need to know that following the quran,sunnah and the salaf is what we need to do and by accepting ibn abdul wahab najdi,bin baz, uhtaymeen and albani they r going against the salaf in many issues of deen,namely tasawwuf,tawassul,dhikr,nawafi­l deeds,fiqh etc.InshaAllah wahabism will end very soon.
