Megyn Kelly Asks Pima Co. Sheriff: Why Are You Politicizing This Tragedy?

FINALLY, someone in the media takes Sheriff Dupnik of Pima County to task on his irrational, irresponsible comments he's been making since the tragic event in Tucson yesterday.

In his capacity as Sheriff, this man is COMPLETELY out of line voicing his opinion and/or political views, and this is the exact reason why most law enforcement agencies have Public Information Officers. This idiot could possibly jeapordize the entire investigation, because the defense can reject any evidentiary investigation the Sheriff himself has done, as he's already stated his subjective opinion in this matter.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office should have their PIO out there talking to the media; not the Sheriff who is already involved in this investigation. Politics should NEVER EVER be a part of any horrific criminal act such as this...much less coming from the lead law enforcement officer himself.

@EspnNBAGeneral Loughner was a lefty and a loon. A former classmate, who identifies as democrat, put that forward on FaceBook when she first learned that she'd known the shooter. Liberal, or self-proclaimed "Truth" lovers have vilified her for stating it. Always nice to see lefties eat their own when errant members tell an inconvenient truth. But no, it is not nice, because truth should be common ground between everyone in this world, regardless of politics. We have our own dicks on the right.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion-the Sheriff in closer to the pathology of this shooting-he would be, as most residents of Tucson would be, more familiar with the actions against Giffords in the past-not by Loughner, but the actions against Giffords.

If an illegal immigrant would have shot Giffords Fox would have exploited the hell out of it, like they have in the past, to argue against illegal immigration. But since a conservative shot Giffords, they are arguing against the exploitation. Foxnews does nothing but politicize tragedy...see e.g. 9-11, Fort Hood, etc.
