The camps named after Albert pike because he was in charge of confederate and Indian forces in that area. It's funny how people can even turn a horrible flood into a racist thing

I was actually in this flood with my church youth group, and we were all fortunate to make it out alive.. It opens your eyes to how blessed you really are and my prayers still go out to the families who lost loved ones.. We were also blessed to be able to witness and save lives through Christ during flood in the middle of the night. Let us never forget or take for granted for all the many amazing things God blesses us with.

Phillydemocrat, I would just like to say you are an idiot. I live about 30 miles from the Albert Pike Campgrounds and nobody there deserved that. & GOD does NOT DISLIKE Albert Pike. Youre an idiot. Seriously. Go get a better education.

lots of my moms friends died in there that is horrible p.s. if my dad was working we were gonna go to alberts pike but he wasn't so we are very thankful!!!! thank you lord and please help every one as much as you can thank you so very much

i want to say thanks to u for that my teacher debrea mcmaster was killed in the flood she was a very good laty and many hearts r broke so i just wanted to say thank you!!!!

I live in sevier county not far from dat river and I kno a couple of people that were killed in it I went to dequeen lake da next day to camp and didn't kno bout it till I registered made sure we were on high ground it's really scary tho .......then on Sunday I had sum friends dat flew up there and crashed their plane so this weekend was full of disasters
