Gesture fail. Also, I would have preferred if it opened to Chrome Browser.

It looks like a good candidate for Chrome OS.

I think it's safe to say that we're looking at an early beta software, so I wouldn't dismiss it just yet. Unfortunately the video shows a user interface that is indeed less then stellar, and I'm sorry to say, but I wouldn't pay for the presented user experience, especially poor is the responsiveness closely followed by the lack of smoothness of switching between various interface stages, lack of animations, not a 2009/2010 quality. Finally what's up with that youtube video "playing" on the pad

Cool prototype. It would be nice if you had a full keyboard and if you had a working stylus for taking notes. Also, the home screen looks a bit bland. You obviously have a great creative team with the way the hardware looks. But maybe try working on a better looking interface.

OK, so I'm sold on the concept, but why are we locked into YouTube & WikiPedia?

Please tell me that's the sort of thing that is changeable in the settings?

Also, I'm inclined to agree about the size of the keyboard? Why so small?

I'm a bit confused, its a web browser, you can visit any page you want on it. The front page has twitter, facebook, picasa and stuff on it (just to name a few off the top of my head). and I'm pretty sure you can type URL's into it.

Onboard processor has a clock speed of 1 to 1.8 ghz. It's pretty new so running an 8 year old OS shouldn't be much of a big deal if there's enough disk space (4gigs is plenty for a barebones install). Btw, Xp minimum requirements was like 400 mhz with 64 mb of ram or something.
