Dr. Khalid Zaheer's Presentation at the LOI Regional Conference, Part One

The LOI program encourages and helps to facilitate the efforts of religious and community leaders to advance national development goals and improve democratic governance, tolerance, and understanding that are essential to reducing poverty and fostering a lasting peace.

This conference is designed to facilitate dialogue and promote the exchange of experiences between Bangladeshi religious and traditional leaders, political actors, and development practitioners and their counterparts in at least 14 other South and Southeast Asian countries, together with USAID and senior U.S. embassy officials.
