  • @Mad.JohnEscapes: Not true what you said about Pete not singing on his solo albums! He sung a lot on those, especially on the later ones.

  • @Talleyrandful

hmmm well he certainly doesn't sing on Seen one Earth, Speed of Light, Water Colors, and only a little on The Answer and write my name in the dust. does he sing on Big Sky?

other than that I don't know any other Bardens albums...so according to my knowledge, my statement was pretty true ;)

  • Una lástima la calidad del video pero mejor que nada, la música es excelente. A bit of shame for the video quality but the music is excellent. Thanks for posting...

  • @santuchoselpink

La cinta magnetica (VHS) no envejecer bien ;0)

    gracias por mirar

  • I noticed that Peter Bardens didn't do any lead vocals in this show, even on this track, which he wrote. Was this becuase of the tensions between Andrew Latimer and himself?

  • @dharmaseed

If what I read is accurate, Bardens preferred not to sing. All his solo albums don't have his vocals either.

  • I just recently discovered Camel through youtube yesterday. What a great bunch of musicians. I never realized that Mel Collins played with these guys. One hell of a good band.

  • What a great song.. with interesting lyric..

  • One question: Why was the groove on this song changed?

  • awesome piece of music, but video sucks

  • Following comments about Mel Collins-I saw him in Glasgow with king Crimson circa 1971-what an excellent performance he gave and how appropriate his contribution to Camel as this performance shows.

  • @DiDijewellery All the best to Andy, he definitely communicated his own cool vibe through the drums.....

  • @MadJohnEscapes he sang a few tunes on his solo stuff, didn't he....I'll have to dig out some albums...Heart to Heart was another album...not popular but i think it's great...Slow Motion, Julia, Raining All Over the World (probably a tune about the camel split)...that's 3 he sang from that LP...and then he sang (ish ) The Answer, I can't remember (was that the title).....all the best.

  • does that extra part they go into in the middle section remind anybody else of Ace of Wands by Steve Hackett?

  • @MadJohnEscapes Well, MadJohnEscapes, he is singing several songs on Further Than You Know, on The Art of Levitation and indeed also on Big Sky, so as I said: the later albums.

By the way, I dont posess The Answer, Write My Name in The Dust and also not Heart to Heart. Would you recommend purchasing those too?

(Hmmm I can guess what you will say...)
