Would never have called stone roses britpop, first album was madchester and second was too heavy to be britpop. Half of these bands just sounded like knock off versions of The Smiths

You used the wrong songs for some bands. The only good Stone Roses songs are on the first album and that Suede song isn't as good as their first record. I also think Blur is better. Every Blur album sounds different while every Oasis album is similar. The first Oasis album is great though.

@DamonAlbarnFan I like Blur and Oasis equally. But I don't think it's minus for Oasis that theirs albums are similar. Oasis did high-quality rock, which does not get tired of listening to.
It's hard to define who is better. There are a lot of Oasis and Blur fans, who will vote for their favorites. I gave the preference to those band, who longer maintain its britpop's identity, because I LOVE this style! (IMHO)
