  • @Chad1737 obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. just because you have a job at gnc doesnt mean crap. i work at gnc as well and their brand of multi has some really garbage forms of vitamins anyway. for example: cyanocobalamin as b12. it is entirely synthetic and does not occur in nature whatsoever. why would you put that in your body? research about the FORMS of vitamins before you post anything about how "effective" they are.

  • i snort vitamins up my nose so they get into my blood stream faster

  • Vitamins are good for you, but overdosing that shit wouldn't do good to your body either. It's like paying to get your ass killed.

  • @x78340 Yeah people are deficient because they're less exposed to the sun during the winter. The liver and kidney is what activates the Vitamin D when the sun hits your skin so it really doesn't matter if you take vitamin supplements and most supplements are unnatural. There's actually plenty of foods with Vitamin D like mushrooms, potatoes, cheese, eggs, fish but of course too much of something is not always good. It's important to stay balanced but i'll stay with my natural resources.

  • @Invincible327 I know it's a hormone. Most people in the US (around 70%) are deficient of this vitamin during the winter months. Very few foods actually have vit D in them, and the ones that do like milk and eggs only carry a extremely small amount in them. Except some types of fish that carry a loy, but try eating them every day and you'll end up with mercury poisoning in the long run. And by the way, it's extremely difficult to get toxicity from D, just look it up. But hey, do as you please :)

  • @x78340 Vitamin D is actually a hormone that the body produces naturally. To use it as a supplement isn't really beneficial. Too much and too little of Vitamin D can cause Chronic Disease. It's better to take Vitamin D naturally through foods like fish and the sun.

  • well i dont eat the right foods to get all my vitamins in i cant help im very picky eater so i take multi vitamins these guys say it dont work :( is this true??? why do doctors give pregnant woman prenatal vitamins they say its a must!!! if it dont work?? i need to get vitamins in me so if this is true what else can i do ??

  • Thanks for the advice, I'm not going to buy a vitamin for now on. My Opti-Men vitamin bottle is almost out and I agree 100%. When I take 1 a day my piss is yellow for a few hours then its back on that Aquafina. When I took 2 or 3 a day (recommended 3) You would be pissin out gold every hour. You dont need vitamins to get yoked up just look at the prisons.
