I had an 82 GPz550 and put a Kerker K2S on it back in the day too. What a great all-around killer bike. Several of us had either 82's or 83's. I also had an 85. Quite rare to see one anymore. Would like to see these in some bike shows!
Ah the sweet memories this brings. I had an 82 fresh off the showroom floor. Got hit by another rider and it was totaled. Immediately went out and bought an '83. What a great, bullet-proof giant-killer of a bike. You could roadrace it, tour with it, commute, drag race. My best friend had a Seca 550, and boy if we didn't just race each other and everyone we could find. Thanks for the memories
Now paint the side covers, you will be ready to go !

Man my brother had an 85 GPZ550, with a KERKER on it, you could hear him coming home from work about 1 mile away. I still like this style.
