Minal Mall dynamited, bulldozed as anti-encroachment drive kicks off in BHOPAL

Bhopal Municipal Corporation begins its biggest anti-encroachment drive

Bhopal: The district administration has begun the demolition of illegal parts of Minal Shopping Mall in the city.

The mall allegedly has illegal constructions over 140 acres of government land. The authorities have begun work to remove the encroachment on this government land. This will be arguably the biggest anti-encroachment drive of Bhopal Municipal Corporation.

Over a dozen municipal officials and along with fire brigade, JCB vehicles and bulldozers had reached the place by 8:30am. The front gate of Minal Residency had been brought down by 10:30am.

The anti-encroachment team then headed towards the shopping mall and gave an ultimatum of an hour to the shopkeepers to vacate their shops. Around 3:00pm, the first blast to demolish encroachment shook the mall.

The residents present there expressed satisfaction that the administration was finally taking action against the encroachment of its land.

नगर निगम और टाऊन एंड कंट्री प्लानिंग की परमिशन के बाद ये बनाई गई और लोगों ने अपनी गाढ़ी कमाई इसमे लगाई. अगर मुख्य मंत्री के रिश्ते बिल्डर से बिगड़ गए तो इन दुकानदरों का क्या दोष?

गौर जी के कहने से अतिक्रमण हटाओ दल भोपाल टाकीज पहुंचा था. वहां इतने सारे मुसलमान इकट्ठे हो गए की उन्हें भागना पड़ा, ऐसा ही शाहजहानाबाद के तालाब पर हुए अतिक्रमण के साथ हुआ. वहां भी हाई कोर्ट का आदेश था. वहां भी भीड़ ने पुलिस और अतिक्रमण दल को भगा दिया.
