THE ALOHA SHOW. From the first beachboy Duke Kahanamoku to Uncle Tommy the famous Waikiki Beach Boys, serving on the beach sharing the Aloha through the magic of learning to surf, play ukulele, sleep on the beach, drink Heineken at happy hour, riding the waves everyday in a canoe... watermen on the world's most famous beach..

The Waikiki Beach Boys are responsible for the preservation of surfing during the decimation of Hawaiian culture by the onslaught of western civilization. Born poor the Waikiki Beach boys were rich in friendships and keep their mana and dignity living what is a life envied by all.

Where have all the beachboys gone. Here is the LAST STAND for Aloha.

  • @kahunahawaii this makes me so sad, they were probably the most awesome people I have ever met. But today, I experienced their spirit of aloha living on. We attended a Surfers for Autism event. Surfers everywhere are teaching autistic children to surf. Today, my daughter was in heaven, and it all started with this beach and these men. <3 Mahalo

  • I worked with Tommy, and the other uncles almost 20 years ago at the outrigger. My beach ohana taught me so much about life, and the true spirit of aloha. I wish I could come back and say thanks.

Tommy, placing a squid on my back, best memory of all. How are the rest of the crew?Kimo, Alex, Bernie, Jon Jon, Crash and many others who's names I've forgotten.

  • Class resort;i would love to be there!!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Everything about this is just the best energy. Respect to those keeping the essence of Hawaiian culture rooted and alive. The ending was one of the best parts.

    Also that bar looks comfortable..

  • Mahalo Uncle Tommy, gave me my first surf lesson

  • It is not easy being a legend. Uncle Tom must be very tired...those are long hard days...I volunteer to give him a one-hour deep muscle massge...

  • If only I could be with all of you......

    Aloha from Madrid...

  • Hawaii ...... summer feeling ........ the beauty of earth

    Kimo .....Thank you for sharing

    Aloha from heart to heart
