@pedlow4ever It's really not unusal for there to be several scenes of a movie that are filmed but which don't make it into the final cut, once they begin to put everything together. They usually also film different versions of one scene and then decide which looks the best in context of the overall movie. Filmmaking isn't as much of an "exact science" as people often imagine!

@pedlow4ever Yep, good point. And that looks like an alien walking into the scene. Whatever it was, obviously it never made it into the movie.

There are other parts that never made it, such as the weapon at 1:07, the alien interrogation at 1:17, and at 2:15 where he imagines his wife coming to him in the field.

@pedlow4ever There were several scenes filmed that never made it to the final movie, and that's one of them. It looks like something that would have been part of them testing Wikus before he escaped the hospital/laboratory facility.
