Coupling - Steve rants about cushions in Englisch and German

Coupling was not the greatest show but I liked it and it certainly had it's moments. This, in my opinion, is one of them. I thought it was hilarious because I completely agree with Steve on this subject. The German version is included because that's how I first saw this scene (being from Germany and all).

Sehe ich genau so. Es gibt hier zu viele Leute, die nicht wissen, was ein Dalek ist. Die Übersetzer mussten was anderes nehmen. Aber der Witz funktioniert mit Scharfschützen auch ganz gut.

Critics have always critized this show as being a rip-off of Friends. Even British critics have said this. Being American I naturally prefer - Coupling. For one thing, Coupling has Jeff (well, except of the show's final year). Jeff is my favorite character.

I believe this is the same episode as Captain Subtext. Whenever the episode switched to this mode, the characters said what they were actually thinking. Of course with Jeff this made no difference.
