What On Earth Is Going On? in cooperation with MSN, asked Filmaka's membership for shorts about what was important to them in their lives. We received almost 100 submissions from around the world, in every style - documentary, narrative, experimental, animation - and on almost every topic - swinging cholitas, dating in the cyber age, nature, family, and religion. The 15 Finalists chosen below were awarded $1500 USD each and their films are showcased at whatonearth.msn.com The What On Earth Jury then selected first and second place winners to receive $7500 each, a third place to receive $5000 and one Special Jury Mention.
