There's nothing wrong with self gratification; it is in fact, healthy. What is not healthy is raising children in ignorance, so that they are unprepared for a world that parents cannot protect them from. The best protection is education, support and critical thinking. And not surprising - this anti-porn video is pretty damn provocative.

Guys, please stop arguing. Yes, I'm against porn but that doesn't mean a whole lot. Quit raging that christians are against it and go look at it without being prejudice against my beliefs, and others beliefs. If you like porn, they why are you even watching this video??

@YankinMichaine yea, perhaps your right... theres no need to argue. i mean if u can gratify yourself and not have any issues with depression or addiction and its something morally right then go for it. i think im done arguing on youtube to be honest. im talking to a girl that takes up most of my time now so i think im done with youtube... take care bro. =)

@Gods0n1 So now you're arguing that sex, porn, etc. are only bad for you in that they "can lead to addiction?" That they only have "the possibility to cause depression and regret towards yourself?" That they are no worse than music? Everything can cause depression in someone -- sunshine, praying, community service, watching kittens play with yarn. You've retreated so far that I don't think you're arguing anything anymore.

@YankinMichaine well, lets look at everything in perspective... playing music and sex and drinking ect. can all be forms of gratification that can lead to addiction... and addiction I'm sure causes depression towards the victim. perhaps i left out "addiction". maybe that's were the disagreement came. but i still argue self gratification as a whole has the possibility to cause depression and regret towards yourself.

@Gods0n1 Really? I enjoy playing music for my own pleasure. Certainly it's a form of self-gratification, yet it has made me friends and led me to enjoy life more. I find sex with my girlfriend to be tremendously gratifying, and it has deepened our relationship and my enjoyment in life. I write stories that I don't share with others -- surely gratifying myself -- and yet that doesn't lead to addiction or depression. Why is masturbating somehow different in your mind?

@YankinMichaine gratifying yourself may not cause hatred short term.. but long term if it turns into an addiction... yes it will cause depression and many other emotions that you dont want,, because thats what addictions do.
