  • It worked for me on my Iphone3GS 8G. It was a pain in the a--, but worth it for the $30 I spent. The hardest part was getting the glass and frame to separate. I used the hairdryer on high for at least 2 minutes on it, pressed up against it, and the glue was still solid. I finally had to take a razor blade and pry it off. After putting it all together and as of now phone seems to be working fine.

  • @nyobsessed If you are willing to spend a bit more money and yet still save money over what Apple charges for out of warranty repair take a look at the complete screen replacement part number IP-2322 at DirectFix com

  • does this work with the iphone 3gs 8gb?

  • @iJbreak Yes these directions will work on the iPhone 3GS 8GB

  • @pdaparts does directfix have the parts for a 3g 8gb?

  • @iJbreak Yes we do have the screen parts for the 3G. All the screen parts and batter for the 3G will work on any memory size unit. You just need to make sure you order the 3G parts and NOT the 3GS as parts are specific for each model.
