Lost Odyssey Walkthrough: Episode 38 - The Black Cave

Time to head to the Black Cave. In the Black Cave, there are many Spirit Magic enemies. Do not use Composite Spells as the Dark Sorcerer counter spells. It should be physical attacks on the Dark Sorcerer. At 17:15, Ming faints due to a magical counterattack. My mistake. haha.

Use fire attacks or Gamble versus the Nightfliers. Their attacks are weak but may make the characters dizzy. So learn Anti-Dizzy immediately.

The dark sorcerer likes to use composite magic, but Kaim and Seth can easily take him out with 3-4 attacks between them.

The party will end up ranking up fast due to the advanced enemies. After a few fights, it's almost certain all your characters can be at level 28.

I used this area to grind a few levels and gain new skills. You do not have to do the same. I just thought that since Sarah is new to the party, she can learn all the accessories that are available to her, meanwhile using the skill linking to let all the immortals gain skills.

Be sure to have a firefly when walking around the darkness. Do not walk in the green fog as the health will rapidly decrease.

@luclo98 I know it's powerful. It also uses a lot of MP. MP I can't afford to use up when going through a long cave. And You shouldn't use black magic/composite magic against the dark sorcerer as it does spell counter every time.
