  • Is it possible to purchase one of these?

  • @kilo549 Yes. I've still got this very instrument if you're interested. You can email me at cewebb.52@virgin.net

  • sounds great, did you make the neck/headstock? no truss rod correct?

do you order parts online if so where? i think i can order parts from stewart macdonald.

    and build the rest...

  • @MrOne2watch Hi. Made neck and h/stock myself. No truss rod, but there is a 10 x 3 mm steel rod epoxied in the neck below the fretboard. Bought components online (mostly ebay uk). best oif luck!

  • nice it sounds great have you thought about making a kit.

  • Thanks. Not really, every one ends up a bit different, and I think I'd miss the satisfaction of putting it all together.

  • The timbre of this instrument is stunning! Well done mate, it really sounds beautiful. A really nice dry-yet-resonant tone. Love it.

  • @homegrownguitars Hi Mr Colin. May i ask what dimensions of wood did you use for this guitar? Can this guitar be constructed using the "Though neck method?" Does this guitar requires any bracing?

I have noticed that on some of your guitars you have fastened the strings at the base of the tin (like this one shown in video) while on some of your other guitars, you have fastened them onto the body. Is there a reason for the difference?

  • @homegrownguitars i sent you an email. thanks for the reply!!

  • What a beautiful sounding instrument. I'm amazed that the sound is coming out of that tin! Well done!
