This was NOT the way it was intended to sound! Sammon's rendition is way better than what Joplin actually wrote. Despite a few blown notes, it was played with a passion and obvious love for the truly "elite syncopations" in this rag. Way to go! This is like cooking eggs: instead of just boiling them, he made Eggs Benedict.
