@ Mrcatdaddy587 Can't understand why anyone would dislike this song...but I found out that my two grandfathers ended up serving in WW II. Never new till recently

this is such a powerful piece of musical literature. from 4:18 to the end i can picture the soldiers who survive the initial chaos in the beginning begin to fight back and hold off the japanese from killing everyone on the island. so powerful

I LOVE this piece. It's hard on clarinet, but I practiced it every day and got it sounding good. The trumpets have quarter notes and still can't play it well.. -__-'

The tenor sax part of the is cool. i like this song.
This musical remembrance pays tribute to fallen heroes of that fateful day at Pearl Harbor that launched our country into World War II. Opening with a peaceful, flowing woodwind melody. Ominous undertones, powerful scoring, dissonant themes and bombastic percussion capture musically the chaos that followed. It's a powerful musical statement the concludes ultimately on an optimistic note that looks to a brighter future
