Winchester Fireworks 2010, The Band of the Adjutant General's Corps playing outside the Guildhall on Broadway. Saturday Nov 6th 2010 at the start of the torch parade. Stevie Wonder's piece was most appreciated by the parade goers.
Followed by Handel Music for the Royal Fireworks IV: La Rejouissance ?

Music available from Amazon http://is.gd/gN5fP
Bonfire was biggest I can remember, Fireworks superb but with more than 20,000 attending parking and access could have been a problem. Fortunately I walked + got there early. People were arriving from about 5.30pm and fortunately the weather stayed mainly dry.
Event organised again by Winchester Roundtable.

  • Nicely captured. We wondered last night why the band noise seemed to linger at the bottom of the street without coming closer. Seems we missed the performance outside the City Council office. Our pics at ... multicolouredplanetDOTcom/Grundlefly/Winchester_Bonfire_Night ... thanks
