Save the Delta Queen! - "Godspeed, Delta Queen"

Without your active support, the historic steamboat Delta Queen will cease operations end of 2008. Video featuring Dan Landau's theme song "Godspeed, Delta Queen". An Act of Congress is needed to give the Delta Queen permission to run as overnight passenger vessel after 2008. Help us saving this National Historic Landmark, an important part of America's history.

While riding linehaul towboats,we'd always get a thrill when the Captain or pilot would tell us on the intercom that "The Delta Queen's passing down the starboard side".We'd all go out to wave and watch.I know a guy who almost caused the DQ to roll over at the St Louis lock while he played Charlie Pride's "Roll on,Mississippi".
