The excuses for Columbus "discovery" are eurocentric thinking. The most famous example the Bering Strait theory which isnt even true except for maybe a few tribes like the Inuits. My personal favorite the tribe wars well that is a different story because it wasnt all out war like the europeans were doing over in europe. Europeans never invented anything they stole from other countries and claimed it was theirs.
