Dauman and Stieber did a great job with this. Today's documentary's way too often - the directors would be walking around - or doing a voice over - and they would be talking about how they first met or first heard about so and so at film school, and asking lots of questions. Generally, when you don't see or hear the directors/producers in documentaries - there is a more honest effort being made on the subject matter then when you do. + plus the overuse of effects and graphics today is annoying
