A Champenellie Production- Specialists in Sports Media- Watch in HQ mode- The 2009 NCAA Division1 Cross Country Mid-Atlantic Regionals were held on the campus of University of Maryland/ Eastern Shore in Princess Anne , MD November 14, 2009. The Maryand Terrapins competed in a 32-team field. 5 days of rain provided slick mud and deep puddles as added opponents for the runners. Georgetown came away with the mens honors, on the mucky 10K course as Terps Jr. Alex Lundy finished 6th overall and snagged a coveted spot to next week's NCAA National XC Championship. The Lady Terps were led through the 6K course by Senior Kristin Reed, as Villanova won the womens regional title. For complete results, log onto the athletic site at www.umd.edu
