nice music. do you have piano notes for that, thanks

Angrylittlegirl's DHMO and gullible videos are about basing your beliefs on things you can test so you can tell when someone is trying to mislead you.
They don't say that we are gullible if we check our facts and they are not about denying what may exist.
But I can't tell the difference because I am a scientifically illiterate philosopher!

Please visit my new site at hotformarinas for my commentary about the *Gullible* video. It ends with an 's'.
My commentary is under my name and that's me playing the drums.

I might be wrong, but i believe that girl has a long way to go before she realizes there are no retards outside of her, only inside of her.
-
she doesnt like people questioning her, but i feel that many people write your opinion off as soon as they hear "atheist", and that can be a cause of such bitter backlash. i think religious people need to hold themselves to the same standards that they request of others.

first i would like to thank you for responding homebound, most people do not. which usually leads me to believe i was right about them. so i do appreciate your response however you said she's not a hypocrite maybe she is just disingenuous isn't that like saying she's not a whore she's a slut? is there really a noticeable difference there? not that i even really disagree with your main point of the video she doesnt like people questioning her,
so what im trying to say is that you as well have been misleading in your video. You are not trying to point out her double standard so much as you are trying to discredit someone who doesn't share your belief. and just a personal observation, i believe that someone who tends to quote other people, often has nothing to say themselves. and you can quote me on that.

if you spent half the amount of energy you do trying to tear down a girl who is probably in the range of 17 years old, on analyzing the religion you seem to endorse, you just may become an atheist yourself. Also you say you doubt her real reason for creating the video whether it is gullibility or religion. just as i doubt your responses are merely trying to point out an unjustified hypocrisy in your mind, as it seems you are trying to portray it.

starvingartist94: I truthfully spent a very short time, relatively, watching (& rewatching) ALG's vid and responding. I have spent over forty years trying to understand life, the universe & everything; so I do not think you are correct. I have chosen Jesus, not atheism.
As for your analysis of my vid, I do not think ALG is a hypocrite, just misguided (or disingenuous).
Thanks for posting though; have a great weekend!

Dear Homebound Pilgrim, I have a question for you. ALG's video says we our susceptible to manipulation if we subscribe to beliefs without checking their facts. But we can't check our facts when we subscribe to religious dogmas. There is no contradiction.
What facts can you use to truly test God's existence?

Sorry for the delay in this reply.
For me, it all starts with Jesus. I approach the Bible from a Christological interpretation; so if I can accept the Bible I can accept Christ as my Savior (and I do).
I hope that helps.
