Brief feature on previous Hockey Night in Canada broadcasters, this one on Dan Kelly, from Ottawa, Canada. It includes him calling the Bobby Orr "flying through the air" goal that won the 1970 Stanley Cup for the Boston Bruins. HNIC's Ron MacLean does the voice-over. For other sports clips, you can also look at the playlists on my channel or the channel itself for the videos. Entertainment purposes only.

  • CBC got rid of Dan Kelly in the craziest way possible. One of the higher-ups at CBC asked him if he could sing or dance. Kelly said no and the schmuck told him, well you can't work for CBC if you don't sing or dance. Got that from Ralph Mellanby's book!

  • He was the best luv does old CBS games on Sundays rest in peace Dan!!

  • One of the best because he wasn't a homer.
