  • You're quite right, this isn't the Metta Sutta. Rather it is 'The Five Subjects for Frequent Recollection'.

    Search online for the Thai Forest Sangha's chanting books to see the Pali/English of this and other chants.

  • This song kept my sanity while going through a hard time. I used to chant this all the time when I was living in the monastry. You guys are doing a good job. I think chanting with translation will be helpful to alot of people

  • Each single day as a human being is of so much value, yet so often people just waste time. We really need to wake up to the opportunity of human life, which is enlightenment. Namaste

  • chanting can create positive vibrational frequencies in the vicinity to alter our wavelengths. This is only temporary. To effect lasting change, we have to alter our core belief systems. This is the "cause" which will lead to "effect".

    and i think this is of wat pah nanachat in thailand which id visited few months back in the start of rain retreat. it was amazing to see all those hard working and serene monks.
