Miami Vice ep11: Little Prince (ending) - unreleased track by Jan Hammer (1984)

Miami Vice: ending of episode 11 of season 1. This excerpt has a music track (cue) never before hearded outside this episode.
I don't know why Jan Hammer didn't never released this in the several compilations of the Miami Vice soundtrack, and it's a pity, because I think it's pretty cool, although pretty short too :P




There are several excerpts of his musical contribution in Miami Vice scattered in Youtube, including in my playlists. It's circa is about 1984/85.

This is actually Miami Vice 3rd season not first season. Jan Hammer left Miami Vice after 3rd season. This track may be from Season 2 or by a new music editor whose name I forget.

@pecm Wanna know something weird. DJ had his Ray Bans dangling from his sports coat pocket during the Polo scene of "Little Prince" but for the majority of the ep he's seen wearing shades like the guys on "CHiP's." Don't those look like Ponch & Jon shades to you lol?

Check out DJ's shades. Very CHiP'sesque lol. He must've lost his trademark Ray Bans for the 4 or 5 eps that he wore those shades ("No Exit", "Give A Little Take A Little", "Little Prince" & "Golden Triangle (Part 1)") and raided Erik Estrada's wardrobe. He didn't even wear any shades in the ep "Glades" which came right before this one. Too bad Hammer didn't use any of his songs w/Neal Schon on "Vice" like "No More Lies." Prior to Vice he was in Schon Hammer w/Journey's axeman.
